The Grand Rapids maker of The Gluten Free Bar is the first-ever recipient of the Michigan export "Rising Star Award" from the Michigan Dept. of Agriculture and Rural Development. MI Beer Named Best in the World

American Homebrew Association's Zymurgy magazine has named Bell's Two-Hearted Ale as the No. 1 beer in America. Founders' Breakfast Stout (3), Bell's Hopslam (5) and Founders KBS (6) are also in the top 10. Founders' All-Day IPA is just outside the top 10 at No. 13.

MI Brewer Wins 2 Gold Medals in West Coast Competition

The Cedar Springs Brewing Co. won gold medals for its "Kusterer Heller Weissbier"and its "Kusterer Weizenbock" at the 2017 Los Angeles International Commercial Beer Competition. The West Michigan brewery won the medals in the "South German Style Wheat Ale" category and the "South German Style Hefeweizen" category at the show.
