Come by the corner of Lake and Lafayette (known to some as 10 Mile and Pontiac Trail) and visit our friends from WHMI radio. Aaron Jack will be broadcasting LIVE. There will be chances to get into their 93 Days of Summer Promotion, where you will have the chance to win 1 of 13 Grand Prizes. They’re giving away over $20,000 in Grand Prizes! There may also be chances to win tickets to concerts like Toto/Men at Work… Neil Young and the B-52’s, and perhaps a few other surprises.

10:00am-4:00pm Free Balloon-Twisting

Always one of the most popular aspects of any BMNFest, take the kids over toward get a cool balloon sword, crown, or other unique object, amazingly twisted by our costumed artist, April. You’ll also find facepainting available from a vendor throughout the weekend.

10:00am-1:00pm Music by Nathan Taco

Konown for his beautiful guitar work, Nathan Taco, singer/songwriter Nathan Taco was raised on a wide variety of muspc, which has influenced his talent and his taste. Expect a mix of familiar covers and unique originals, making this a lovely way to wile away a Sunday morning.

10:00am-4:00pm Try Your Hand at Axe-Throwing

Whether you are an old pro, or have never had a chance to try axe-throwing in your life, we’ve got you covered. An expert coach from Warrior Throwing will be waiting to greet you on S. Lafayette, and guide you into this unique and time-honored sport. Try it on your own, or challenge a friend or family member. This activity is totally free compliments of Buy Michigan Now.

10:00am-4:00pm Michigan Author Showcase

Reading local authors is a cool experience, and so is meeting them, talking about the inspiration behind their books, and getting a book or two signed. This is a great place to find unique and special gifts. Authors scheduled to appear at this time include Cynthia Burke, Clint Chico, Dr. Diane P. Fleming, D.A. Henneman, F.P. LaRue, D.K. Marie, Donovan M. Neal, Katherine Billings Palmer, Amy Piper, and Kath Usitalo.

1:30pm-4:00pm Music by The Loose Chords

A popular act at our festival for years, The Loose Chords are a dynamic acoustic duo. Bob Knox is on guitar and vocals, while Jim Humphries plays harmonica and percussion. Their recognizable blend of music consists of classic rock, Americana, country, blues and even some original tunes.
