Talk about a gift that will wrap them in your love for decades to come. This 100% merino wool lap blanket takes “made in Michigan” to a whole new level. Handwoven in the Greenfield Village Weaving Shop, the wool was “grown” by the Firestone Farm’s sheep and the fleece was processed into yarn in a Frankenmuth woolen mill. To create the structure and color palette of the blanket, Greenfield Village weavers examined historic fabrics in the Museum’s collection for inspiration. This is a functional keepsake with an amazing story.
