Riding in a Model T is a really cool experience, so one can only imagine how much fun it would be to learn to drive one. The experts at Gilmore will go through starting basics, use of spark and throttle control levers, coordination of hand and foot controls, proper shifting-techniques, reversing and more. The experience includes a historian-guided tour in portions of the Museum Collection with lessons on Henry Ford and how the Model T changed the world. They’ll also get a souvenir Model T booklet, admission to the entire campus of the Gilmore Car Museum, and a Certificate of Completion that is suitable for framing. Driving lessons don’t happen until summer, but you can download a fun certificate inviting them to attend as your gift.
