These beautiful solid Red Oak bowls are a relatively new product. Each is turned by the craftsmen at the Holland Bowl Mill, which is one of the last commercial wooden bowl mills in the United States. To obtain the rustic look they keep the outside rough and lightly scorch the bowls with a fire torch. The end result is a beautiful rustic look. The bowls are not stained, only hand rubbed with food safe Bees Oil wood conditioner. Give one for decoration or pair it with some Ferris nuts or Cherry Republic sweets.
