Buy Michigan Now is a statewide awareness campaign that encourages buying local to give the economy a lift. If every Michigan household shifted just $10 of its weekly expenses to Michigan-made products, collectively we would put $38 Million a week back into our economy. That’s over $1.9 Billion a year, and something we can all do. Shop with your hands as a map, and your heart as your guide.
2025 Buy Michigan Now Festival
The first Buy Michigan Now Festival was a 7-day event that took place indoors and outdoors in Downtown Northville in 2009. It was a celebration of the state’s first-ever Buy Michigan Week. It included seminars, contests, and of course a variety of Michigan-made products. By the following year, it turned into a 3-day annual event that has drawn thousands of people annually. BMNFest, as it is affectionately known, has been featured by multiple media outlets, survived Covid shutdowns, and has even been recognized by the United States Senate for its contributions to stimulating our local economy.
The tradition continues in 2025, with a new host city, and a new energy. We want to thank the community of Northville for its warmth and ongoing support over all these years. While we hate to leave that charming Victorian town, we believe it is time to shine a light on another community and help more people discover all that it has to offer. Stay tuned to see where we will land for the next generation of BMNFest, coming Aug 1-3, 2025.
