We Help Michigan Businesses Grow
Buy Michigan Now is a statewide awareness campaign that encourages buying local to give the economy a lift. If every Michigan household shifted just $10 of its weekly expenses to Michigan-made products, collectively we would put $38 Million a week back into our economy. That’s over $1.9 Billion a year, and something we can all do. Shop with your hands as a map, and your heart as your guide.
2023 Buy Michigan Now Festival
Our annual celebration of Buy Michigan Week returns to Downtown Northville Aug 4-6. Showcasing exclusively Michigan-based businesses, it’s an incredible opportunity to interact directly with local entrepreneurs. This full-sensory experience includes touching MI-made products, smelling nuts roasting, hearing sweet melodies, tasting an amazing array of MI-made foods and beverages, and watching children laugh with joy in the Kids Zone. STEAM activities will be available throughout the weekend. Fri August 4th features hands-on activities from the Michigan Science Center and a juggling show at 7pm with Crazy Craig. Sat August 5th is capped by roving magical performances from Anthony Grupino and a Mad Science show at 7pm. Sunday includes a free make-and-take art project. There will be live music each day under the Marquis Theatre, and a social district so guests may enjoy to-go adult beverages while walking through most of the event. Admission and parking are free. Stroll, shop, sip, savor, and support Michigan’s small businesses. They are the backbone of our economy.
