Having grown up with my family involved in the meat industry for over 70 years, enticed my interest. My father, owning his own slaughter house, was well known for his experience and knowledge of the industry. History repeats itself, learning from the best, I followed my passion and started experimenting with my own recipes. Tweaking each batch, until I was satisfied with the tender, Smokey, best Gourmet Jerky around. 20 years later, we have expanded our business and selling at local farmers Markets and Craft shows throughout Michigan.
